About the Stingrays
Welcome to the Summerwood Stingrays!
The Summerwood Stingrays Swim Team offers a fun, inclusive, and competitive summer swim experience for children of all skill levels. Our mission is to build team spirit, encourage personal growth, and foster a love for swimming in a supportive environment.
We’re thrilled to welcome new swimmers and kick off an exciting season in a brand-new league!
Our Mission
To develop teamwork, discipline, and confidence through hard work, leadership, and sportsmanship—both in and out of the pool.
This season, we’re proud to join the Greater Charlotte Swim League (GCSL)—a community of neighborhood pools that promotes friendly, recreational competition. Teams are grouped by size and skill level, ensuring a fair and fun experience for all.
- 5–6 dual meets per summer
- Divisional All-Star Meet at season’s end
- League guided by the principle: “Let the Kids Swim”

We welcome all children interested in swimming!
New swimmers must complete a water safety assessment before joining the team. If you're unsure whether your child can swim independently, please wait to purchase a team suit until after the assessment.
💰 Registration Fees:
- 1st swimmer: $160
- 2nd swimmer: $155
- 3rd+ swimmers: $150 each
Fees are due by the Parent Meeting on May 11, 2026.
