Swimmer Code of Conduct
As a Stingray, I will:
- Show respect and sportsmanship to teammates, coaches, opponents, and parents.
- Support my team and celebrate everyone’s efforts.
- Respect all people and property at events.
I will not:
- Harm, threaten, or bully others.
- Disrespect coaches, teammates, officials, or parents.
- Damage the team or league’s reputation.
Practice Expectations
- Attend at least 3 practices per week.
- Arrive 5 minutes early and check in with a coach.
Weather Note
Practice and swim meets take place in the rain. However, any sound of thunder or instance of lightning clears the pool until at least 30 minutes have passed without a recurrence. The safety of all swimmers is of the greatest importance. If there is stormy weather in the area we will be monitoring it closely and send notice if practice is canceled. Please download the Swimtopia app and allow for push notification in order to be notified via text message and cancellations or changes to practices or meets.
