Parents,

You should have all received the email below regarding important reminders for Sunday's All Star Meet.

Please print the attached heat sheets at home and bring them with you to the meet. Heat sheets will be available at the event, but there is a charge to purchase them on-site.

Having a printed heat sheet will make it much easier to keep track of your swimmer's events and heats throughout the meet.

Also attached is the Lane Assignment. Summerwood is assigned to Lane 1 for competition pool and Lane 1 for the dive pool for warm-ups throughout the meet.

Stingray Families,

The 2026 GCSL Championship Meet is almost here! Below are a few important reminders for All Stars.

Meet Information:

• Date: Sunday, June 28
• Location: Mecklenburg County Aquatic Center (MCAC):800 E. M.L.K. Jr. Blvd., Charlotte, NC 28202
• Meet Start: 2:00 PM
• Warm-Ups: 1:15–1:40 PM
• Pool Closure: The pool will be closed 20 minutes prior to the event start.

Warm-Up Lane Assignments
Please review the attached warm-up lane assignments prior to arriving.

No Shows

• Swimmers who miss their assigned heat cannot be added to a later heat (unless the error is on the meet's part).
• While announcements may be made reminding 10 & Under swimmers to report to the Clerk of Course for 25-yard events, it is each swimmer's responsibility to report to the correct heat and lane on time.

Starts & Pool Exit

• 25-yard events and all relays: Swimmers should exit the pool immediately after completing their race.
• 11 & Under individual events of 50 yards or longer: Dive-over starts will be used. After finishing, swimmers should move to the wall and remain in the water until the next heat has started, then exit the pool promptly.
• Relay swimmers: Please exit the pool immediately after completing your leg of the relay.

Questions During the Meet
If you have questions, please see your coach or team representative. Parents should not approach meet officials during the competition.

Volunteers Still Needed
We still have volunteer positions to fill. Please check the volunteer sign-up and consider helping if you are available. Tia and Ashley will be on deck with the team and will not be available to fill open volunteer positions. Thank you for helping make the meet a success!
